Creating Dental Health - While we are skilled at treating all kinds of dental problems, our goal is to work with you to create dental health. That means getting your mouth, gums, and teeth healthy and looking wonderful, and then keeping them that way. The following services are just some of the things we do to maintain your dental health and keep your smile bright.

Regular cleanings to remove plaque, stains, and tartar. A little training in how to take care of your teeth and learning about new tooth care products are all part of this appointment.

Oral examination - After your cleaning, Dr. Dave will do an oral exam to look for gum disease, cavities, jaw problems and to evaluate your bite. During the exam we will go over any concerns you may have about your dental care. We will discuss treatment options, costs, and come up with a plan for perfect dental health and a beautiful smile.

Fluoride treatments - Less then 100 years ago dental disease was the number one killer, and today it is again on the rise in children. However, with a dental health maintenance program that includes simple and painless topical fluoride treatments, dental disease is completely preventable. The use of fluoride as a part of an individual's dental health program is the single best public health program in History. We'll show you how to take advantage of this amazing process.

Sealants - Using sealants is like fingernail polish for the teeth. It's an extremely hard yet flowing composite material that fills the grooves of permanent teeth to prevent food and bacteria from becoming trapped and causing decay.

Scaling therapy - Scaling is the process of removing tartar deposits and plaque from the tooth, both above and below the gum line. The Center for Disease Control reports that if you have gum disease, you have three times the risk of stroke and heart attack than people with healthy teeth and gums. Regular scaling is another important part of preventing many different kinds of dental problems as you get older.

Prescription Medication Therapy - If you already have gum disease, we can treat the problem by using site specific antibiotics, taking the medicine right to the problem area. What ever your dental condition, we can put you back on the path to dental health and feeling good about your smile.

URGENT dental services - For many different reasons, you may require emergency or at least urgent dental services. When you have pain in your mouth, life just isn't fun, and you want relief as quickly as possible. At All Care Dentistry, we are experienced and fully equipped to treat every urgent dental problem. Most importantly, we know it hurts and will work hard to get you into the schedule and get your treatment started immediately. Some of our urgent care services include:

The prompt elimination of pain - As part of your urgent or emergency appointment, you will get a prompt dental exam, the diagnosis and treatment options will be thoroughly explained, and if you are in pain we will do everything we can to eliminate the pain as soon as possible. We also do everything we can to insure that there is as little discomfort as possible both during and after treatment is rendered. Urgent or Emergency Dental Services - Some of the urgent care problems we commonly treat include general dental pain, abscesses in the gums, broken or chipped teeth, badly decayed teeth, and problems with braces, crowns, bridges and acute jaw problems. We are very good at treating these painful conditions and others like them.

General tooth repairs and dental work - Tooth repair is the most common reason people come to a dentist. Not only do we do spectacular dental work, but we do it with pain free approaches, and using the most sophisticated tools, materials, and equipment available. While these processes may sound pretty technical to you, we use digital x-rays, digital intra-oral and extra-oral photography. Our anesthetic deliver systems are computerized (no shots), we use air abrasion instead of drilling, computer networking for advanced diagnostics, and many electronic and digital devices for dental diagnosis.

Fixing cavities - Restoring your teeth to normal by repairing the tooth destroying process of decay.

Treating gum problems like Gingivitis and periodontitis by our friendly and professional dental hygiene staff.

Repairing chipped teeth with processes that use special composite materials to build up a tooth to look and feel normal.

Filing in gaps and spaces between teeth using dental compounds or limited orthodontics (fixed or removable appliances).

Whitening stained teeth by using whitening treatments or bonding agents to make your teeth look bright and natural.

Bite problems caused by weak, broken or missing teeth. Proper bite and jaw alignment is restored using state of the art crowns-caps, bridges or implants.

Missing teeth are an embarrassment. We have a wide range of tooth replacement approaches that allow us to replace a single tooth or provide you with full or partial dentures. We know how to do what it takes to give you back your missing teeth and a smile you can be proud of.

Replace mercury fillings - Mercury was a common dental substance in years past. Today, it's possible to remove the potential health problems and the dark coloring caused by these fillings, and replace them with bonded porcelain or composite resin that matches your natural tooth color.

Loose teeth are troubling and can lead to more serious dental issues. After an evaluation to determine the cause of the problem, appropriate treatments can be provided to anchor them and give your mouth a solid base.

Snoring can have its origin in dental alignments or blocked airways. After a thorough exam, it's possible to build custom oral appliances that can give you (and those around you) a more restful sleep.

Tooth saving procedures/Root canal therapy - We are able to remove just the diseased or broken portion of a tooth, avoiding tooth loss. The root is then filled completely and the tooth cosmetically repaired.

Molar extractions (Wisdom teeth) - Skip the oral surgeon, we are very experienced in molar removal. This procedure is common in our practice. You can even sleep through the procedure if you like and eliminate your wisdom teeth in comfort and safety.

Teeth straightening or orthodontics is the art of directing tooth growth to create a natural look and beautiful smiles. But it's really much more than just straightening teeth. We employ a variety of strategies to develop facial symmetry and stable dental arches including:

Interceptive- By early intervention to correct bad oral habits for children and young adults, it is often possible to eliminate or greatly reduce the need for complicated treatments later in their lives. By eliminating obstructions, and using fixed or removable appliances we can treat problems like mouth breathing, teeth grinding, jaw clenching, thumb and finger sucking, excessive pacifier use, and tongue problems. By working in harmony with a child's natural physical development, we can eliminate or reduce harmful dental habits and ensure a more natural evolution of their dental structures.

Braces are mechanical approaches for aligning teeth and the underlying skeletal and muscular components. Whether we use the Invisalign method, a clear and almost invisible to the eye appliance, or traditional but now colorful alignment products, we will gradually direct the growth of your teeth in a way that leads to optimal oral health, comfort and natural appearance and functioning for the rest of your life.

Relief from headaches and head, neck and jaw pain caused by jaw misalignment can be accomplished through diagnosis and appropriate orthopedic splint therapy. A custom made splint is a joint repositioning dental appliance that gradually allows the jaw to realign without surgery. Ninety-five percent of all head and neck pain is generated by stress related muscular tension. Proper jaw alignment and symmetry allows the body to cope with these stresses in a more comfortable, less destructive, and healthy way.
